North Beach Orcas Island

North Beach Orcas Island is located on the north side of the largest of the San Juan Islands.

While public access on this beach is small, it offers spectacular views and is an excellent place for beach combing. You never know what you’ll find!

You can catch a glimpse of Sucia Island Marine State Park from the shore of North Beach.

North Beach Orcas Island – Getting There

Travel north on North Beach Road from Eastsound to access North Beach.

A small parking area is available.

Kayak rentals, tours, and whale watching are available nearby at Outer Island Excursions. Visitors can also catch a ferry to Sucia Island here as well.

If you’re looking for public beach access, North Beach is worth visiting. Whether beach combing, kayaking, or just soaking up the scenery, it’s hard not to enjoy this little corner of shoreline in the San Juan Islands.
