Fall is a great time to visit Branson, Missouri. The leaves are beautiful, the weather is pleasant, and one of America’s top-rated theme parks pulls out all the stops. The Silver Dollar City Harvest Festival immerses guests in the delights of autumn.

Silver Dollar City knows how to celebrate. This family-friendly festival is all fun and no frights. Formerly known as Pumpkin Nights, Silver Dollar City Harvest Festival offers fall-themed activities, food, and fun.

Silver Dollar City Harvest Festival
Silver Dollar City Harvest Festival typically runs from mid-September through the end of October. Guests can enjoy the festivities during the day and after dark.

In addition to rides and attractions, Silver Dollar City is known for its selection of hand-made mementos.

The Blown Glass Factory is always on my must-see list. Throughout the day, glass blowers show off their craftsmanship in live demonstrations.

During the fall festival, these artisans transform glass pellets into pumpkins right before your eyes.

Prefer the real thing? Custom-carved artisan pumpkins are available for purchase.

Fall Food
One of the best things about this Branson theme park is the variety of delicious goodies. And the Harvest Festival includes many favorites with a hint of fall.

A funnel cake is a must for any visit to SDC. But these tasty treats are even better with seasonal flavors like maple bacon pecan and salted caramel apple.

The Rivertown Smokehouse overlooks the water ride, Mystic River Falls. Throughout the year, this eatery’s menu features savory BBQ. But in autumn, offerings include dishes with a fall twist, like Pumpkin Bread Pudding.

Pumpkins Everywhere
Nothing says fall better than pumpkins. And if you love pumpkins, Silver Dollar City is the place to be.

Pumpkins of all shapes and sizes are everywhere.

The park’s Grand Expo area features Pumpkins in the City.

Here, pumpkins are transformed into spiders, owls, bats, and other friendly, fun critters.

These fall decorations are fantastic by day.

But by night, the SDC shines even brighter.

A stroll through Foggy Hollow treats guests to lights from the sky.

And if you feel like getting your groove on, you’re in luck. At night, there is a dance party for the whole family.

The Silver Dollar City Harvest Festival offers fun for both young and old. Enjoy the family-friendly shows. Ride the thrilling (or tame) rides. Devour delicious fall dishes. And, of course, pick up a hand-crafted pumpkin or two to remember your trip.

We stayed on Indian Point, just a few minutes away from Silver Dollar City, at Still Waters Resort. The free shuttle is super convenient.
